Final Christmas Samples

Here are my last two Christmas samples to share with you all.  These are great ideas from two stampin' friends of mine and I hope you enjoy them.

This first one is a card I received from my friend Julie B.  She used the "Dasher" stamp from the regular IB&C along with the greeting from "Grateful Greetings" found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I love her combination of Kraft, Bashful Blue and Chocolate on this card and her use of the Snowfall Printed Window Sheets is great too.  It's hard to see but there is a little Dazzling Diamonds on the antlers of Dasher that really makes this one so cute . . . and did you notice the little scalloped edge along the bottom of the Bashful Blue piece?  Well that's a little sneak peak at a design using one of the new punches (Scallop Trim Border punch) available next month as a FREE Sale-A-Bration item.  Watch the mail for that SAB brochure and check out Pg 9 to see this new punch.

This was a great gift that I received from my friend Tami W.  She used the Sweet Treat cup (from the mini) on the front along with a couple of dies (Scallop Circle & Snowflake #2) with the Big Shot to create a cute focal point on the front (a little Dazzling Diamonds floats inside the treat cup).  The stamp set she used is "Sweet Season" from pg 29 of the IB&C and the Scallop Circle and Lg Oval punches helped create the tag, that was tied on to one of the Mistletoe Ribbon Original ribbons with Gold Cord (both found in the Holiday Mini Catalog).  This was a special treat for me because it came with some really yummy fudge inside . . . it's soooooo good.

Merry Christmas to all.

The Best "Berry Christmas"

I am so thrilled with all of the new supplies that I have gotten from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure that I can hardly contain myself.  We are so lucky as demonstrators to be able to preorder a few things in advance of the mini catalog coming out.  As a matter of fact, I love everything so much that I already have all of my swaps done for my swap group . . . I know, I'm a little scary some times.  And, I just can't keep my hands off of the new epoxy brads.  I definitely feel like Christmas came early this year when I got that big box from SU.  I will be posting a few more Christmas ideas in the next couple of days but starting Christmas Day I will be giving you a little sneak peak in to what is coming next month.  If you are on my snail mail list you should be receiving a copy of the new Occasions Mini and SAB brochure in the mail soon.

In the meantime, here are a few more Christmas cards using the "Berry Christmas" set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  These came from a very good friend of mine, Dena R.  She created these four cards for our last swap, and I hope you enjoy them.

Decor Elements Blocks

It's been a while since I played with blocks but the Decor Elements Blocks from the mini catalog are just too much fun!  I got together with some other demonstrators a while back and we played with blocks for a while.  Take a look at just a couple of ideas we came up with using some of the Holiday Mix Decor Elements and Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP.

Holiday Tags & Treats

Here are some fun Christmas Tags made with the "Christmas Punch" Level 2 Hostess set from Page 14 of the IB&C.  So much fun and so easy.

The left pictures shows you a little gift idea, great for a stocking stuffer, and the picture on the right shows a close up of all four enclosed tags ("to:" and "from:" are on the back of each tag).

Here is an idea I came up with for the grandkids . . . candy!  Their parents always appreciate that extra little jolt of sugar (tee hee hee) and these were so easy.  I just wrapped See's Candy Bars in some of the Christmas Cocoa DSP and a little Chocolate Chip 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, then added a cute tag with one of the stamps from the "Delightful Decorations" set and punched it out with the Ornament Punch.  Very quick and easy!  I think this extra little touch makes these simple candy bars so much more special and appreciated, but is it me or have the candy bars gotten smaller in size?  Hmmmmmm.

Dashing "Dasher" Card

Remember you only have a couple more days to get your orders placed in time for Christmas delivery - December 15th is the cut off date.  Here is another Christmas card sample using one of the most popular stamps in the current catalog.  There are several individual stamps available on Pg 108 of the IB&C, all under $9.00.

This card starts with an Old Olive base and uses Real Red, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla card stock.  Chocolate Chip and Real Red ink along with the Top Note Bigz Die (Big Shot), Eyelet Border punch, Playground Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, Gold Brad, and Sleigh Bells Ribbon (mini catalog) were also used in this creation.

More "Delightful Decorations"

Here are two more creations from Julie B. for you to enjoy.

This one features Mellow Moss and Whisper White.  The "Petals-A-Plenty" Textured Impressions Folder was used to create the texture on Whisper White card stock and a Clear Brad added a little bling.  The greeting on this one came from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set.  Very cute!

This one is a 3x6 card that is actually a money holder (inside has a little flap on the bottom to hold cash).  Here she used Ruby Red, Shara Sand, Whisper White and Holiday Lounge DSP.  I just love the color combos from that particular DSP and think Julie did an awesome job on this one.  A little White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon and Linen Thread were also used to finish this one off.
